HOW DOES IT WORK?

Ultrasound technology emits acoustic waves into the area of treatment, causing increased mechanical disruption to the fat cells to break down and exit the body via the lymphatic system. After this, a radio frequency device is then applied over the treatment area to tighten the skin of the treatment area. Radio frequency can also be used as an individual treatment for areas that only need tightening.

WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME?

There is no downtime with this machine. It is encouraged to hydrate before and after the treatment in order to help facilitate the movement of fat cells out of the body through the lymphatic system.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

Petroleum jelly will be applied to the treatment area and will then be massaged over the area with a warm ultrasound disc. Occasionally you may hear a ringing in the ear, but otherwise will be relaxed by the warm massage as it melts away fat cells. Next, the oil will be applied as a secondary device is then massaged over the area as it too emits heat and radio frequency to the treatment area. Most patients find it to be very relaxing.
